I've enjoyed coming here for dinner...but have not sampled the lunch. This is a nice and comfortable family run business...evident by Mom keeping everything in order, including seating, getting drinks, cleaning your table, and keeping the buffet tables stocked and moving... plus one of her children also helps out. There are two sides to this business...the sit down buffet and the obviously popular take-out. I enjoyed the sit down buffet. There is a good select of food and dessert items. Hot foods are hot (just the way I want them), and the cold are cold. The foods seemed fresh, properly cooked and maintained...and tasty. I hope to see you here enjoying a fine meel or perhaps stopping for take-out to bring home. Good food, very nice staff...all around good. See you here my friends...!!!

This place really is a run of the mill "Chinese" Restaurant. In a strip mall, deep fried sweet meats run the gamut (sweet and sours, "General Tso's", Sesame Chicken, etc"). The last time we were in, new owners had staked out the place, and while their kids are C-RAZY adorable (seriously, whenever you place an order, it's a 6-year-old boy manning the phones), they now have smaller portions at the same - if not higher price. This place is alright. The convenience of the location for us probably means we'll be back, especially since the Honey Bee went out of business. Note: Their buffet is just fine, just make sure you go at a peak time (normal lunch/dinner-time) to maximize options and freshness.

Ate lunch here on a Saturday with the husband. I'm still a little confused as to whether you can order just from the menu or if it is buffet only. I asked and was told buffet only, but there were menus at the front desk, so it may have been a communication issue. So we had the buffet, and it was better than some Chinese buffets I've had, but not good enough that I would go back. The size of the buffet was large enough to offer some variety, but small enough they could keep it pretty fresh. Food wasn't overwhelming flavorful, but it wasn't bland either. Not as greasy as I've come to expect from a Chinese buffet. Please note that there was no steamed rice and nothing spicy. Plenty of fried items. Crab rangoons were weirdly sweet. Don't know what was up with that. Not a lot of crab in them either. There were some soups and some deserts. Hubby really enjoyed a mystery seafood item and the shirmp. Chow mein was probably the best bit for me.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
